Wild Wolves of Winter: A Movement and Poetry Workshop

Come to cSpace King Edward and explore a poem through movement. We will play with the dynamics of our voices and bodies, creating movement from poetry in a way that enhances both, experiencing how the expression of our voice emerges naturally from our moving body.

Passionate about helping children develop physical dance/movement literacy, Dana developed this whole-brain, embodied teaching method exploring the relationship between words, images and movement to create choral movement pieces from poetry. It is a platform for working with meaning, metaphor, imagery, creative choice, dynamics, movement, vocal and ensemble performing skills which he has used in workshops around the world.

The workshop is open to children 8 years and older.
